Our Beautiful Holly gained her angel wings in February 2025.
We have had such a journey together at Oakside in the nearly 4 years you have been with us, from Discos to paddleboarding, holidays, pampering and so much more. You truly were the life and sole of Oakside and it won’t be the same without you. It feels like only yesterday you moved in.
We have had the pleasure of seeing you flourish from a young lady to a beautiful young woman with a zest for life and experiencing new things. You will be sorely missed.
Josh Balmer OCT 97 - JUL 24

Our beautiful, kind hearted, gentle soul Josh sadly passed away July 2024, surrounded by those who loved him dearly.
Those that knew Josh would know what an infectious laugh he had and that he would usually be laughing at someone else's slight misfortune or someone bashing pots and pans, while washing up. Josh asked for very little in life from those around him, but gave so much and made our house at Woodside into a home, which will never be the same without him.
Josh taught us how to appreciate life, especially all the songs in jungle book and the quirks of Dave Benson Phillips from Fun song factory.
Our gentle young man enjoyed nothing more than life’s simpler things, stories such as going on a bear hunt, chilling in his hammock in the garden and quality 1:1 time snuggling on the sofa.
We are all truly heart broken.
Greg Love DEC 92 - JAN 24

'One of our 12 stars has fallen'.
In the early hours of the morning Jan 2024 Greg sadly passed away at home with those he loved around him.
It feels like only yesterday that Greg moved into Fernside. In reality he has been with us for 6.5 years and what great adventures we have had along the way.
From destroying Air B&B's in France, casting spells at Hogwarts, playing Bogies around the shops, laying on the beach in Portugal, abseiling in Calvert, chilled days at home & parties galore, he showed us how to have fun and make the most of every day no matter what the weather.
Our Blue-eyed boy has had such an enormous impact on all our lives and has enriched our hearts. Greg will be greatly missed.
James Duffy OCT 02 - MAR 21

In the early hours of the morning, Mar 2021, James grew his wings and wished us farewell. It feels like only yesterday we had the call to say that James was moving into Woodside and what a great adventure we have had.
For such a little person James has had an enormous impact on all our lives and has enriched our hearts. While always keeping us on our toes and never missing the opportunity to throw a curveball our way, with the common phrase of "it's a James thing". He will be greatly missed.
Forever in our hearts.
Dave Philo JUN 97 - MAR 20

In April 2017 this amazing young man entered Fernside and changed our worlds for the better.
Just a smile could melt your heart and brighten the worst of days. It is with deep sadness that we write this post. Amongst the craziness that is going on outside, this young man continued to fight the fight until enough was enough.
Dave sadly passed away , Mar 2020 but will forever be in our hearts.
It has been an privilege
